Specialization: Ashley holds a B.S. in Biology from Kent State University and an M.S. in Forensic Chemistry from Texas Tech University. She is currently a Ph.D. candidate and research assistant in the Biological Threat Research Laboratory at the Institute for Environmental and Human Health, Texas Tech University. Her research focuses on investigating the neurological mechanisms of illicit drugs and pesticides for the development of field-deployable detection methods with applications in forensic science, national security, and public health.
