Bio: Dr. Patterson earned his PhD in Sociology at the University of Georgia, Athens. He is the Secretary-Treasurer of the Peace, War, and Social Conflict section of the American Sociological Association.

Specialization: Social control, organizations, & knowledge/beliefs

Research Interests: Systems, Organizational Sociology, and Sociology of Knowledge.
